ICPA NT

 General Grant

"More than 170 delegates from across Australia attended the 52nd annual ICPA Federal Conference in Darwin in July. Across three days attendees participated in a variety of meetings, functions and networking which allowed them to collaborate on important challenges that affect geographically isolated children and their families. ICPA values their continued partnership with Connellan Airways Trust and their support.

Without the generous support of our supporters, we would not be able to facilitate conferences. The reason these events are important to our organisation is because they create a forum in which ICPA meet with their members to discuss the educational and health concerns of geographically isolated children living across rural and remote Australia. These concerns are then formalised into motions and sets out the foundation of ICPA advocacy work for the forth coming year. At its core ICPA aims to improve access to education for all rural and remote children. Federal Conference also aims to expand learning opportunities for women as parents and educators by inviting a variety of guest speakers and presenters who can assist in improving home classrooms and online learning platforms."
